Thane P. Johnson, Partner

Thane grew up in Cut Bank, Montana on a family farm and Ranch. He graduated from the University of Montana with High Honors with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Thane earned his J.D. from the University of Minnesota graduating Cum Laude in 1993. Thane became a partner in the law firm of Werner, Epstein and Johnson in Cut Bank in 1993 where he practiced until 2006. Thane also served as the Deputy County Attorney for Glacier County from 1993-2006. Thane served as a part-time Tribal Court Judge in the Blackfeet Tribal Court from 2003-2007. In 2008, Thane joined the law firm of Johnson, Berg, McEvoy & Bostock, PLLP, now Johnson, Berg & Saxby, PLLP. Thane became a partner in 2010 where he actively litigates both civil and criminal trials. Thane has a general practice but specializes in litigation, Indian law, criminal law and agricultural law.
