Kent P. Saxby, Of Counsel
Kent graduated from Walla Walla University with a Business Degree (Accounting emphasis) in 1977, and earned a Certified Public Accounting (CPA) certificate the following year when he started law school at the University of Montana. In 1981, he graduated from law school and then became a member of the Montana Bar. In 1984, Kent became associated with Johnson, Berg & Saxby, PLLP, which law firm was then known as Warden, Christiansen, Johnson & Berg. Beginning in 1989, he became a partner in the law firm, and he continued as a partner in the firm until his retirement as a partner at the end of 2020. Since 2020, he has remained affiliated with Johnson, Berg & Saxby on an “Of Counsel” basis. Kent’s legal practice primarily involved small business matters, real estate and other transactional matters, and tax, estates, trusts, and estate planning matters.
